Responsible for achievement of University objectives and realization of vision and mission.
Ensures provision of efficient and effective service delivery at all times.
Ensures provision of quality programmes, products and services in ways that reflect the principles of equity and social justice.
Ensures implementation, monitoring and review of Strategic Plan.
Ensures University assets are properly maintained, clean, secure and efficiently utilized.
Ensures transparency in recruitment of qualified staff, in adherence to legal provisions; and provides for their welfare and remuneration.
Ensures annual budgets and business plans are prepared.
Ensures prudent financial management for the University to remain a going concern.
Ensures a positive corporate reputation and image through corporate social responsibility and corporate social investment.
Ensures openness in communication and information dissemination to stakeholders.
Ensures courteous and timely responses to all enquiries and provides avenues/room for suggestions from stakeholders and the public.
Ensures compliance with laws, regulations and standards.
Fosters the general welfare of all staff and students.
Ensures the University is transparent and accountable in its operations by providing ethical and accountable leadership from the top.
